Looks like the writers’ strike will be over in time for the Oscars. Since there will be less time than usual to come up with jokes for the evening, I’ve decided to help out. Here are some starting points for hilarious gags, free of charge:
- George Clooney is very handsome!
- One of Cate Blanchett’s nominations is for playing Bob Dylan, who is a dude!
- The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford has a very long title!
- Juno is about a sassy teen who gives her baby away, and that could probably be used as a metaphor for some recent event in popular culture and/or current events!
- Jack Nicholson still wants to have sex, even though he is very old!
